Jilly grew up in the kitchen, and has always had a passion for baking. Enjoy her delightfully simple, and favorite, classic fudgy chocolate chip brownies made with cocoa powder.
Ingredients:
1/2 Cup Melted Butter
1/2 Cup Cocoa Powder
1 Cup Sugar
2 Eggs
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1/2 Cup All Purpose Flour
1/4 Teaspoon Salt
1/2 Cup Dark Chocolate Chips
Preheat oven to 350° F Bake in an 8x8 parchment lined pan for 20-22 minutes
Add 1/2 Cup of melted butter to a mixing bowl and slowly incorporate cocoa powder and sugar, mixing well.
Once the butter, cocoa, and sugar are thoroughly combined mix in eggs one at a time until fully incorporated.
Next add vanilla and salt. Slowly incorporate the flour 1/4 cup at a time until combined.
Add chocolate chips and bake in an 8x8 parchment lined pan at 350° F for 20-22 minutes
Expert Tips:
Slowly incorporate the cocoa, eggs, and flour to prevent lumps
Heat the butter just long enough to melt, otherwise you run the risk of cooking your eggs in the batter prior to baking
